haven't discovered how practical a mid arbor design is. Cortland’s new
“Current” Mid-Arbor reel may just be the best value in a fly reel today. This
feature packed beauty starts as a solid billet of 6061T6 aluminum. It’s then
machined to exacting tolerances and hard anodized for lifetime durability in
fresh or salt water. We add a fully enclosed, center mounted Rulon disc
drag that will protect 7X tippets or stop a bonefish’s sizzling run. An
exposed rim lets you palm the counterbalanced, quick release spool for
even more control. The knurled bar stock drag knob is slip proof, even with
wet, slimy, or cold fingers. Mid-Arbor design gives you maximum line
capacity but still has all the benefits of rapid retrieve and reduced line
coiling. And all this performance is wrapped up in an attractive package.
The distinct and dignified charcoal frame and pewter spool will compliment
